WIZTEK GAMES
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated
This policy covers the game, this support website and the account features prepared for the next update. Feature availability depends on your installed build and platform. See the changelog for release status.
OverviewHow this policy applies
This policy explains how WizTek Games handles information when you play CinderGrove, use online features, visit wiztekgames.com or contact support.
You can play the core game without a CinderGrove account. Local progress and settings are stored on your device. Online authentication, cloud saves, public leaderboards and support submissions require a connection; mobile advertisements also contact their provider.
Account information and social sign-inEmail, Apple, Google and linked login methods
Email accounts: Supabase processes your email address, password-based authentication, account identifier and session information to register and sign you in. Do not send your password to our support team.
Apple or Google sign-in: when you choose a supported provider, that provider authenticates you and supplies information needed to establish your game account, such as a provider identifier and email address. Apple may supply a private relay email if you choose Hide My Email. Provider-supplied profile information, where available, may be included in authentication metadata. We do not receive your Apple or Google password, and these sign-in flows do not request access to your contacts or email messages.
Linking: linking Apple or Google while signed into CinderGrove associates that login method with your existing game account. Linked identity and session information are processed through Supabase. Linking is not a service for merging two separate game profiles.
Public name: a new social account is asked to choose a display name for community features. This name is separate from your provider’s email address. Session credentials may be stored on your device to keep you signed in.
Progress and public leaderboardsCloud saves, rewards, display names and scores
When you use account-based progression, we process saved progress, owned players, weapons and pets, upgrades, inventory and currencies, daily-quest progress, spin tickets and rewards, event pieces, run results, lifetime statistics, platform and game version as needed for cloud features. Offline saves and preferences remain local unless used by an online synchronization or support feature.
Public information: your display name and the scores or statistics shown in leaderboard entries can be seen by other players. Your sign-in email, passwords and session credentials are not displayed on leaderboards. Avoid using sensitive personal information as your display name.
Display-name validation checks known inappropriate words, slurs and common disguised spellings. It is not a complete moderation system and may miss or incorrectly flag names. Name or leaderboard reports sent to support are used to investigate problems; see support guidance.
Visual improvements, run skills, relics and chest effects do not by themselves require an additional account-data category; their progression and reward results fall within the gameplay data described here.
Advertising and consentOptional rewards and between-run ads
Supported mobile builds use Google AdMob for optional rewarded advertisements and may show an interstitial after every second completed run when an ad is available. Rewarded advertisements are not required to play the core game. CinderGrove requests non-personalized ads; that does not mean no data is processed.
Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses and derived general location, device or advertising identifiers, crash and performance information, ad views, and interactions. This supports ad delivery, measurement, diagnostics and fraud prevention. See Google’s Mobile Ads data disclosure and Google’s privacy policy.
Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform presents consent choices before ad requests. Where privacy options apply, you can revisit them through Account → Ad Privacy. Availability and choices can vary with your region and platform. We do not sell personal information or use game account information to build cross-app advertising profiles.
Purchases and in-game unlocksCurrency use and platform receipts
Real-money gem purchases are disabled in the game’s 1.0 release configuration. Unlocks made with earned in-game currency, including event currency, are recorded as progression and reward data.
If a future supported build enables platform purchases, purchase verification may process product and transaction identifiers, status and receipt information. The platform store handles payment details; WizTek Games does not receive your full payment-card number. We will update these disclosures if the purchase flow or its data use changes.
Support and bug reportsWhat your message includes
Website form: we receive the name, reply email, issue category, optional device and game/OS version, and message you submit. These details are forwarded through Cloudflare to our support email inbox. You can also contact support@wiztekgames.com directly.
In-game bug reports: the report includes the player name and description you enter, plus the game version, platform and device model. This report does not automatically include a reply email. Use the website form or email if you want a response.
Information and attachments you voluntarily email, such as screenshots or recordings, become part of your support correspondence. Do not include passwords, sign-in codes, tokens, private keys, payment-card details or unrelated personal information.
Website analytics and hostingCloudflare traffic and performance information
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and processes technical requests, which may include IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information for delivery, security and abuse prevention.
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and page performance. Its browser beacon sends performance measurements to Cloudflare. Cloudflare states that this service does not track individual visitors across its customers’ websites. See Cloudflare’s analytics collection documentation and Cloudflare’s privacy policy. This website analytics service is separate from game cloud saves and in-game advertising.
How information is used and sharedProviding and protecting the service
We use the information described above to authenticate accounts, keep linked login methods working, synchronize progress, operate rewards and leaderboards, handle support and privacy requests, investigate bugs, deliver and measure ads, prevent abuse and fraud, and maintain reliability and security.
Information is shared with service providers for these purposes, with other players only through public leaderboard information, and where necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information.

Providers handle information under their own terms and policies as well as their arrangements with us. Data may be processed in countries other than your own.
Retention and account deletionGame accounts, local saves and separate records
Account and cloud-game information is retained while the account is active and as needed to operate the service. Support correspondence is kept as reasonably necessary to handle requests, investigate issues, maintain support records and prevent abuse. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security or transaction-integrity reasons; we do not promise a fixed retention period for every provider or record type.
While signed in, open Account → Delete account and complete the confirmation to remove your CinderGrove account and associated cloud progression. The game also resets its local progression after successful account deletion. This is permanent. If you cannot access the game, contact us from the email associated with the account so we can verify your request.
Deleting the app alone does not delete an online account. Deleting a CinderGrove account does not delete your Apple or Google account, their separately held records, or your support email correspondence automatically. Contact us if you also want support records reviewed for deletion. Device backups are controlled by you or your platform provider.
Your choices and privacy requestsAccess, correction and deletion
You can play without an account, choose whether to use cloud and social sign-in features, decline optional rewarded ads, and revisit applicable ad consent choices. Online features are unavailable without the required connection or account.
You may ask to access, correct or delete information associated with you, subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification. Use the support form and select Account deletion or privacy, or email support@wiztekgames.com. We do not need your password to process a request.
Children’s privacyNot directed to children under 13
CinderGrove is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Store age ratings and local age requirements may vary by platform and region.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
Security and policy updatesProtecting information and keeping you informed
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No online service or storage system can guarantee complete security. Keep your device and login methods secure, and never share session credentials.
We will revise this page and its date when relevant features or data practices change. The support changelog records website and game updates; additional notice may be provided for material privacy changes.
